Evaluation: Feedback from peoplein M5

With all the results I received from my questions I realized all the things I could have improved upon and made better. Of these ideas was the ending. In my opinion and the people who gave me feedback, agree that I could have maybe happened a proper ending. It the end because of the time rush I did not get the chance to do so. Looking back at my documentary I could have added interviews of people from around the school, however, not filmed inside it. This did not work out because the memory card would not let me get the videos off the card and onto the computer.

I could have gone into the topic further meaning that I could have discussed the ways to prevent it, I could have researched further into the signs of addiction, and the effects, ETC. what I liked most about my documentary was the images and videos I found. Some of them I thought were really interesting. What I thought I could have improved on was possibly the interviews with other people such as officials; hence it would have made the documentary seem more important.

With the feedback I received from Mats he gave me the idea that I could have added more comedy into the movie. This would have been a create idea and instead of being a straight forward, serious documentary it could have been full of comedy rather than just a few points in the movie that were funny. Most of the people who reviewed my video at one point or another discussed the idea of adding more videos on addiction. If I were to redo this project I definitely would add a lot more videos that were relevant to my topic.

My questions that I used to receive feedback were:

1. What did you like most about my documentary?

2. What did you like least about my documentary?

3. In your opinion what should I have added?

4. Any other thoughts on my documentary?

And the results were:
Jan-Christophe: The interviews with the people who are addicted to Facebook.
Jan-Christophe: How it cuts off too suddenly.
Jan-Christophe: A professional talking about it.
 Jan-Christophe: No.

What did you like most about my documentary?
 - i like the flashing pictures and the song about Facebook and tumblr it goes really well with ur project

What did you like least about my documentary?
what i least like was.. nothing

i think maybe u should  add more videos about people talking about addiction

Mats:

1. your documentary was easy to follow and kept you interested.

2. that it was a bit choppy, but it was good

3. maybe a bit more comedy, because it felt like it just kept going

Caroline:
1.                  I liked the music, and it suited the movie
2.                  It didn’t have a proper ending
3.                   A proper ending and actual scenes, not just pictures
4.                  none

    MINDMAP

I searched everywhere! there is no sign of my mindmap anywhere. I cleaned out my entire room and it still wasn't there.

    My ideas were (i think)
    - doc on swimming (and how to improve)
-doc on tumblr (and its addiction)
-doc on technology and how far it has come in this world

i decided to go with the idea of Tumblr addiction and expand on it by adding Facebook and social media in general onto it too. I like this idea as there are a wide range on resources i could use to find my information, including interviews of people who attend Stonehill.
